Guiding trips and tours for over forty years, Ron Yarnell is a legend in the Alaskan Arctic. In the 1970’s after experiencing the Brooks Range and Arctic for the first time, he started his own guiding business which he ran successfully for nearly thirty years. Now, without the business to manage, focuses on guiding and pursuing personal adventures. Arctic River Guides is lucky to have him as a resource. He is an exceptional guide and wealth of knowledge when it comes to wildlife, flora, fauna, and Natural History of the Brooks Range.

When not guiding trips and tours Ron and partner Lynn Larson are out enjoying the Arctic, and fighting to protect the lands they love.
