Cameron Baird started guiding wilderness trips and tours in Alaska in 1997. It took one river trip for him to get hooked on Alaska’s awe inspiring wilderness. Since that first trip he has gone on to lead extended rafting, canoeing and backpacking trips throughout Alaska. His main guiding focus since 2005 has been sharing the beauty of the Brooks Range in Alaska’s Arctic with fellow travelers. With a natural history degree and nursing degree from the University of Alaska, wilderness first responder certification, and swift water rescue technician certification, he is sure to show you a good time while educating you on your new surroundings and keeping you safe. Cameron along with his wife, Becky, and daughter, Skylar live in Fairbanks, Alaska year round.
