Hot Springs and Dog Teams
Enjoy Alaska hot springs with a unique experience that begins by traveling from Fairbanks over the Yukon by a bush plane on skis. We land at a remote homestead near Kanuti National Wildlife Refuge. We receive a tour and experience Alaska bush living at it’s best. The following day, after receiving a dog mushing safety talk we head twenty miles over the Ray Mountains to camp near a remote Alaska hot springs that only sees a few visitors each year. Soak, snowshoe, view the aurora and relax for the next two days. Now it’s time to leave our oasis and catch a flight out back to Fairbanks.
The days are long in the spring but it still gets dark and this will allow us to view the aurora each clear night. We stay in custom heated tents for comfort and eat hearty delicious meals to sustain us through our days. Arctic River Guides takes you to places and new experiences that most only imagine.
